Compare two drafts

Somebody sends back a contract and says they have made "a couple of small changes". Reading both versions to find them is an hour you will not get back, and the change that matters is usually the one sentence you skim. This reads the words off both documents and works out which ones were taken out and which were put in, marks them on the pages, and writes the whole comparison out as a PDF you can send to whoever needs to approve it. Every file is opened, changed and saved by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, nothing is stored, and no account is needed.

• Word by word, not line by line, so a reflowed paragraph is not reported as rewritten
• The two pages side by side, with what went and what arrived marked on each
• A marked-up PDF to save: a summary page, then every changed page
• Pages with no text layer are reported as not compared, never as unchanged
• Different page counts are stated plainly rather than guessed around
• Both documents stay on your machine
