Make a scanned PDF searchable

Text recognition runs inside this browser tab, on a photograph or on a scanned PDF. The words go back over the original invisibly, so the page looks the same but can be searched and copied — or come out as a Word document, a spreadsheet of whatever tables were on the page, or just the text. A page that will not read the first time is cleaned up and read again. Every file is opened, changed and saved by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, nothing is stored, and no account is needed.
