Find what a PDF is carrying, and take it out

A PDF carries more than the pages you can see. The author's name, the software that made it, an XMP block holding the editing history, notes somebody left on a draft, the values typed into a form, whole files embedded inside it, and every earlier version of itself if it was ever saved in place. That last one is how redactions get undone: a box drawn over a name and saved incrementally leaves the name in the file. This looks through the whole document and tells you what is actually in it, then removes it two ways — a strip that keeps the text searchable, or a rebuild that redraws every page as a picture and leaves nothing that is not a pixel. Every file is opened, changed and saved by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, nothing is stored, and no account is needed.
