Summarise a medical report
A report written for a consultant, read by the person it is about. This produces a short account of what the document says, on this device, with the original never leaving it.

This is a reading aid and nothing more
It does not diagnose, it does not advise, and it does not tell you whether a figure is normal. What it does is turn a document written in the vocabulary of one profession into a few paragraphs saying what it covers and what it states, so the conversation with a clinician starts from an informed place rather than from a blank.
The wording stays close to the report for that reason. A summary that characterised a finding as reassuring or worrying would have made a judgement nobody asked for, about a document it cannot see the rest of the file for, and there is no worse place in this whole product for that to happen.
Figures deserve particular care. Where the report came in as a scan, a recogniser read the numbers, and a recogniser loses a digit out of a long value without any sign that it has. Check every value against the paper before relying on any of it.
Why it matters that this runs here
A medical report is the document people most want help reading and are least willing to hand to a website, and those two facts usually resolve in favour of pasting it into whatever is free. Everything on this page happens inside the browser tab, on your own machine: the recognition, the model and the summary itself.
The model is downloaded once from a public host and cached. After that the page works with the network off, which is the plainest demonstration available that the document is not going anywhere.
